Yeah, I know, awesome title. 9.9 Anyway, not sure if there's already a Sonic fanfiction or comic or SOMETHING out there with the same title (my guess is there has to be somewhere, knowing how obnoxiously large the Sonic fandom is these days, and always has been) but if there is, then a little disclaimer to say that this is not based upon it, should it exist. Also, for those of you without a dictionary, I didn't spell metal wrong. Kthx.With that out of the way, let me introduce you to my very own Mecha Madness type story. By popular demand, I'm going to continue on in my little Sonic chess game, and branch out the continuity I've created (read, patched together pieces from others, of course) with a second comic. This one's going to be longer, and is in the same spirit as the first: just a good read, and something for people to glance at from time to time. Do I like the attention I seem to be getting from more official continuities? Yes. Am I doing this to get on their nerves? No. Am I getting on their nerves anyway? Most certainly. Let us go forward then!
Nerdery abounds in Robotnik's lair, where I'm still drawing him too fat, and am myself still too uncomfortable writing for such a villain. C'est la vie. As for who or what the weapon is that's stepping out of the chamber there... you're gonna have to wait and see.

haha, you tell those official continuity fans. Don't ever compromise. >< The fanbase is way too big, and I must confess that I find at least 90% of it absolutely abhoring.
But I'm excited to see how this progresses. Looks good so far. I definitely like how you stick to the classic Robotnik.

Mecha Madness was by far one of my favorite sagas from the Archie Comics...you've got your work cut out for you, that's a lot to live up to but I know you can do it!

I personally think this version of Robotnik is the best because he's so menacing. Besides, who can take a guy named "Eggman" seriously?

Hm. I'm watching you for updates, so by default I'll see how things go. Frankly, I'm more interested in where you take this with an "initial introduction Metal" type story than in the design of the robot itself.

I really love the green tint to the coloring. Sounds minor, I guess, but I'm still learning about coloring so stuff like that really fascinates me/grabs my interest. Also looking forward to the story. I must admit, I love it when long-time fans create their own stories/works. You definitely know these characters and it's refreshing to see them in capable hands.
Aw, that last paragraph sounded so mature. Let's fix that.

Duuuuuuuuuuuude. That green smoke in the last panel is VERY effective. I like the panels as well, shows an unpredictable feel instead of complete "regular" panels comics do all day. The green tone is also an added touch. Green can be such a creepy color.

I miss him soooo much in Archie's Comics don't get me wrong I like the New "Eggman" but he keeps getting weaker in the Comics compared to good old IVO.

Nice.. I love the swatbots. and the robotnik from Satam.. I always love that version of robotnik the best. I wonder what robot is in that tub.. who knows what it could be. Maybe one with lots of chainguns, missles, and claws to tear though the flesh like swiss cheese
