wow i was browseing the gallery of my photo hero and this really jumped out at me

im not quite sure what draws me to this photo, it just that the texture of the beard is intriguing an the focus of the photo is so easy on the eye, everything is so crisp. i love it

is he irish? he looks like someone from like 'king arthur' with those big, long beards that reach down to their belt lol... its a great shot.. very powerful, i do agree that the cropping is just a tad bit tight, but it does leave a lot to the imagination... good job

Thanks for the feedback man! Yeah, these days I do not crop tight as tightly.. I'm using a camera that can render a shallower DOF now so I don't have to fill the frame as much to get the same background blur.
