Description Got stuck with my DW5 entry, decided to take a break and wrote this. This is more an experiment than a tutorial, I yet have too much to learn myself. So proceed with caution! Please report spelling and grammar errors.

I might have to try this! It might beat sculpting fur clump by clump : )

Very cool. I have 2 zbrush books and they never really went over markers much. I'll save this and go through it further later.

This tutorial is somewhat outdated though. I discovered later that Mesh Insert brush works better for such purposes. I'll update it when it will be possible.

I don't use Zbrush (tried it, we didn't get along). But this looks really useful :0

+fav for future reference, just in case

I hope it still can be useful for you someday. Zbrush is definitely worth learning. This tutorial is somewhat outdated, need to make an updated version in future because I discovered more efficient methods (like usage of Mesh Insert brush) for placing instances of the object.

Yes. A digital sculpting program.

You have it
once more... thx for this trick, more often I use maya hair system and then convert paint effects to poly, but Your technique seems to be more flexible - for example: each "hair clump" is separate polygroup and is much easer to create hair style with moveTopo brush ))

Best regards
