Hallett CoveThis shot was taken from thigh deep in the water as I wanted to wade out to get those rocks on the left as though they were wathcing the sun. In retrospect, it could have been taken from a little further to the right I think.
The image itself was 3 exposures manually taken and blended - one for the sky , one for the water reflections and one for the rocks.

Hi Dee-T , thanks for not taking offence at the criticism I added and my apologies for taking issue about the DD in the way I did , I was as you will have read under the wrong assumption about them. I did intend to send a note when I logged in this morning but you have beaten me to it.
Because it was very late when all the above took place I didn't have the chance to take a good look at your other work and having done so now see that ironically this image is the only one where the fault I pointed out is significant and mentionable. You have many quality images in your collection and as such I see now why nyssi came to the defence regarding my outcry .
I fully understand the resizing for web etc issues and didn't for one minute assume you wouldn't have a file suitable for printing , my horn tooting was about what I saw here.
The DD is actually well deserved when seen as a pat on the back for your work as a whole. Kudos !

The water looks more like vapour. It's like there are stones in the clouds!
The sun creates a beautiful path across the dark murkiness of the water...
Perfect timing, the sun would've slipped from that position if you hadn't been so genius, and that moment would've been lost forever.
