Eliean Donan CastleScotland
This is yet another take of Eilean Donan castle taken in 2010 when the tide was up, waters mirror still and a blazing light occuring behind the castle in the distance. Dynamic range was quite extreme so this is an exposure blend of three images else there would just have been a silhouette of the castle.

Simply beautiful , words really fail me. this is what springs to mind for me when thinking of scotland, and the history and landscape, superbly composed and the lighting is sheer heaven. the calm waters of the loch take you into the scene, the reflection of the castle nirror like in the water, the curves of the bridge over the water to the castle compliment the landscape formation. the castle standing tall, solid and no doubt with many tales it could tell. the ominous looking sky beyond with the sun breaking through in one spot. all in all a masterpeace for me, so enchanting and one that really does demonstrate the art of photography to the full. thank you for sharing it with us. simon

The pleasure was mine, and this is the joy of photography, you will have been so focussed on capturing the light at that time so superbly. the real magic starts thereafter when the viewers minds start expressing the thoughts and emotions your work evoked in them.
