Another image zoomed out from the previous one of the incoming rain at sunset over moana. Those poles make for a great subject but I do wish the sky above the clouds was a little more interesting. In the end, I accentuated the slight cast that occurred when stacking a singhray 3 stop and a hitech 4 stop soft GND.

Incredible shot, the reflecting shoreline, the posts and then the oncoming rain storm make for great focal points in the photo and balances out the whole piece nicely, great work

Sky support.... an apt name indeed. It really looks like the poles are supporting the sky! Such variations in colors in the sky too, the faint orange glow on the sand cast by the setting sun, it's a wonderful piece! Keep up the good work^^

hope you aren't annoyed if i request it as a print and then don't buy it...i would LOVE to have it but am in the midst of moving temporarily and looking for somewhere permanent and can't add to my clutter...but it is the kind of thing I would like on my wall - REALLY big! anyways, i will put the request in and it's up to you - thanx for sharing this awesome piece of artwork!

You'd get a much colder picture without the impact that this one have...
More bluish colors and less red...
Also, with this calm water there would have been a real chance of the water freezing.
So all you'd see is a lot of snow with a row of poles standing up from it (provided that the snow didn't cover them) and some clouds in the background.
And the rain from the cloud would probably be snow instead giving it a slightly different shape and color.
An interesting thing though is that if it was even colder but no ice on the water you'd get sort of an fog being created over the water.
That could make the picture interesting I guess...
But in any case there's not much snow left here ><
