Description
Overworld Enemy #6: Peahat"Has little attacking power. This is the ghost of a flower that bounces and flutters around the place. Link can eliminate it only when it's standing still."
- The Legend of Zelda Manual
As Hyrule is an ancient and magical realm, even the plantlife is susceptible to becoming cursed and subsequently animated. Peahats are the spirits of dead vegetation, come in a myriad of different varieties, many of whichΒ even possess the ability of flight. Most Peahats tend to be a nuisance more than anything, as they are usually quite weak and have almost no modes of attack other than to flock in large groups akin to that of a swarm of buzzards shoving their opponents around. However, some species may have poisonous barbs on their bodies, while others have long tendrils or roots that are pretty strong and are able to choke or grab passerby.Β
