Oh, my god, I do this all the time for school. I am like, no, no, nope. I am not going to be late to school or any of my classes. I prefer to be absent then late, so the motto, it's better late than never... Lie, it's better to never be than than late. :I I don't know who made that expression. They probably misheard it and jumbled it up in their mind. Maybe, it was like telephone, the message just got mixed up. XD Tardiness is bleeeh. I don't know, but I prefer to re-schedule something or whatever. XD I am glad that I am not the only who thinks like this!

actually it still better to be late then not not show up. My old high school, and my collage don't penalize people for being late. And Teacher that I have had say "it better to be late then not to show up because will will miss something that is important."

If you're late in my school, you have to write a exam, get extra homework and have to do some other things our sadistic teachers could think of.
That's why its better to stay at home if you overslept.

Ha ha! I applied this idea to homework all through high school. I mean, yeah, I failed everything and had to bust my ass to graduate at the last minute, but man, that was some good nappin'.

Especially true in my old school, where being more than fifteen minutes late to your first class meant being counted absent for the rest of the day.
