EDIT: It has been brought to my attention by a commenter that the 'randomly placed apostrophes' were throwing off the flow.
So I removed em. THERE WILL BE NO PUNCUATION. This will be a continueing trend throughout the rest of my poetry. I've seen the light and old habits die hard.

OH yea! I so feel ya on that. I'm remember playing outside for hours, doing kid things. I don't understand it, people just give they're kids what they have, phones, computers, and all that other bullshit. I didn't have a phone until I was 18 going into college. >:T I really did enjoy being a kid and I wasn't too press on growing up too fast either.

x3 How old are you now? I'm pretty sure we all loved being a kid. And want to be one again at times. But we know it's never going to happen. So we have to step up to the plate and be a teen or adult.

lol! I'm 27... yea old. But yea, I do wish I could be a kid again too sometimes, like I a kid nowadays because I would be evil. lol
But yes, you're about the stepping up and take on the responsibilities. But you can be responsible and be a kid at the same time. I kinda get away with it sometimes. lol XD

yep, its sickening isn't it?, i didn't even need a mobile phone not even now, when i was young i played outside with chalks, playing with marbles, going to parks and run around with your dog (if you have one), play at the play grounds, hide and seek, tag, etc, walked like a crazy, doing crazy, playing and imagining being things you like, i even hear kids curse like a teen at my country ._., whenever i imagine being older these days i actuly get SCARED of growing up, i didn'' think much of growing up in my kid days only sometimes and saying it but i enjoyed by kid days, thats where you have a lot of friends to play with and can go crazy whenever you want too.

Exactly. I miss being a little kid so much. Me and my sister were creative when we were little. We roleplay, yes we did, and pretended to be people from Code Lyoko. Ha ha yes we pretended to be many things. It was so fun. We clearly don't do that any more but we still some times act like a kid. Because we miss it. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
yea, cosplaying when you where a kid isnt weird too people, but anyone older then 12 is weird for most people if they cosplay, good old kid days heh...

Well we didn't actually cosplay. We just roleplayed as them. xD We didn't get clothes or anything. Although we did put an L and an M on our hats for Luigi and Mario. My sister liked Luigi so she ALWAYS got to be him. And I was left with fat mario... :c xDDD

THIS. Honestly, I like to blame the marketing industry for alot of it. They push "older" products at younger kids who bug their parents to buy them. And, of course the parents give in because they don't want to parent. I mean, why raise your kid when the TV can do it?

Well, I'm seventeen (But look twelve. Not kidding.) and the majority I've seen are just plain nasty. They're concerned more with their phones/facebook/whatever and are spoiled beyond belief, not to mention the whoreism. (Is that a word?)
It's FAR worse at the middle school level...

ive heard by some elementary teachers that came over to my friends theater teachers room (high school).... that kids in 2nd grade.. get this 2nd grade trade boyfriends like every week and worry about who's "next" and 4th graders are already sneaking behind portables to "make-out". HA im already gonna be in 11th and i havent even gotten a BF. i have many more things to worry about. (like looking for a job... =___=')

Darn straight! And, you'r enot the only one, I'm a high school graduate and have never had a Boyfriend.

I agree with you completely. Something needs to be done about this! As they say the kids will be the adults one day. Can you imagine when these new kids have kids of their own? HA. Probably at 15, because they are so fucking "mature". Okay, I've told my mom this. We have adapted and everything so we live longer. But long before us, not like dinosaurs but, they married at like age 15. And we marry at ages over 20. Because these kids are acting so mature they are going to get pregnant, yes I know e_e, and have kids and marry so young now. Sooner or later the song 100 years won't even be close to coming true. Because no one will possibly live to be 100 years old if you are having kids that young of an age. I sure hope these kids find out one day what love TRULY IS. THEY ARE TO YOUNG TO BE DATING.

Oh so much truth in this poem, and we never realize it until we're older...I now understand the quote, "youth is wasted on the young." When I become a mother I hope that I will be able to allow my children to be children, while teaching them enough responsibility that they are able to grow up and be self sufficient without looking back on their childhood with too many regrets.
