it liiives!and by it i mean my scanner. my god it's been forever since i used that thing.
so anyways, this is Dr. Henry Jekyll, for a class project. hence the hideous line down the middle of his face.(the cardboard follds out to reveal Mr. Hyde)
i am quite proud of him...there are things that bother me but...
OK, moving on
this is Dr.Jekyll from the film League of Extraordinary Gentleman, which we watched in the class this is for along with reading the actual Jekyll/Hyde book. so i used him for a reference, played by Jason Flemyng.

This is cool. I haven't seen the movie yet (or the comic it was based upon), but right now I am reading the movie novelization and it's really good. He looks like a good actor. Certainly cute.

The questions came out in my english literature section exam last year!
We studied the book and the story turns out very interesting but I still don't know why I chose to answer The Phantom of the Opera questions over Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde xD

heh, when i finish him...
my project is comparing atoms and jekyll to hyde and atomic bombs (combining my love for art and an unexplained interest in bombs for the bestest fun ever) so i decided to so a sort of painting thing for a visual. i have two cardboard things like this one and one has a uranium 235 atom (looks alot like a science fair 1st grade project, heh) and JEkyll, the inside with an explosion anf Hyde...which also tied into Freud's ideas with the Id, Ego, and super-ego....
well, it's easier to explain in person really...
so yeah, when i finish hyde i plan to upload him tooo!

Great job, I need to get better at acrylics.
I would say watch out for keeping the saturation in your colors, but I have a feeling that was a conscious choice. Nice work.

yeah, the reference photo i was working off of was an official movie thing or whatnot, so of cource it was completely saturated.
