A board game based on Pleasant Path from Paper Mario.RECOMMENDED PLAYERS: 2-4
TO WIN
+NORMAL PLAY AND BATTLE PLAY: Earn a set number of points. (150 recommended)
+TIMED PLAY: Get the most points within a certain amount of turns or time.
MATERIAL NEEDED
+Printed copy of this board (11 inches > 8.5 inches ^) OR digital editing program with board inserted
+Playing pieces. (I'll provide my own later)
+Six-sided dice OR dice-rolling program
+Item pieces (to be added later)
+Enemy cards (Battle play only) (To be added later)
TO PLAY
+Pick your playing piece.
SPACES
+BLUE SPACE: Earn 2 points.
+YELLOW SPACE: Earn 5 points.
+RED SPACE: Earn 9 points.
+BOOTS SPACE: Add Boots to your inventory.
+HAMMER SPACE: Add a Hammer to your inventory.
+SUPER BOOTS SPACE: Add Super Boots to your inventory.
+TOSSHAMMER SPACE: Add a Tosshammer to your inventory.
ITEM RULES
+Items are passive in nature.
+Up to 9 items total can be stored in a single player's inventory.
+Up to 4 copies of a single item can be stored in a single player's inventory.
+If a player wishes to discard items to potentially make more room for better ones, they must do so before rolling.
ITEMS
+BOOTS: Add 1 to the total dice roll for every copy.
+HAMMER: Add 1 power during enemy or player battles for every copy.
+SUPER BOOTS: If a player ends their turn on another player's space, they can steal 2 points for every copy.
+TOSSHAMMER: When a player rolls and decides their path, if there's any players on their way to their final space, the player can steal 1 point each for every copy.
PLAYER BATTLES
+At the end of every turn in Normal and Timed Play, all four players roll the dice. Whoever gets the highest number earns 10 points.
ENEMY BATTLES (BATTLE PLAY ONLY)
+At the end of every turn in Battle Play, the last place player picks up a card from the enemy draw pile.
+There are different kinds of enemy cards to draw.
NORMAL ENEMY: All players take turn rolling the dice. If the enemy still has health left, players lose points equal to the enemy's power. Whoever depletes all the enemy's HP earn points.
MINIBOSS: All players except last place take turns rolling the dice. If the miniboss still has health left, participating players lose points equal to the enemy's power, and last place gets them. Whoever depletes all the miniboss' HP in 3 turns earns points. The battle ends after 3 turns.
BOSS: All players take turn rolling the dice. If the boss still has health left, players lose points equal to the boss' power. Whoever depletes all the enemy's HP in 5 turns earns points. The battle ends after 5 turns.
+Depending on the number of players, the HP of all these characters is different.
2 PLAYERS: x1
3 PLAYERS: x1.4
4 PLAYERS: x1.8
+This number decreases by 0.4 in the case of miniboss enemies.
These rules will be altered later.
