it should automatically weight.......did you make sure to select what you wanted to weigh? and was it weighed to the main bone first?

it's either because the skirt's bones are not connects to the lower body bone, or the joints are not connected to the lower body physics. or both.

Do you know why I keep getting this problem: themikudancer.deviantart.com/a... ? I'm using PMXeditor and my SlimDX. Also, 'User' doesn't show up in the Plugins tab, just 'CSScript' 'Launcher' and 'System'

Pardon me for asking this, but do you have a download link for your version of the skirt editor? The one I've gotten from the download link doesn't have the option to adjust how many bones in a row nor does it have the Z options in the joint tab.

Is there ANY way I could use this plugin to weight a long coat? ._.
👍: 0 ⏩: 2
DesertDraggon In reply to Supurreme [2013-06-26 20:11:16 +0000 UTC]
Yep! Do it just the same way you would rig a skirt. It's how I got physics on my Billy model's jacket.

Supurreme In reply to DesertDraggon [2013-06-26 20:30:36 +0000 UTC]
Hooray, thank you ^^ Only, I`m having an issue. I`ve attempted it twice, and failed miserably, which is why I asked. After I press the button when I fit the joints to the model, the model is weighted to the bones, but the bones don`t change, and the joints go back to normal ;_;

DesertDraggon In reply to Supurreme [2013-06-26 20:52:54 +0000 UTC]
weird, it shouldn't do that. Did you select the parts you wanted weighted first? Did you press the right button when you're done positioning it?

i dunno what's going on then :I it's not like the thing can TELL if your rigging a skirt or not, it just puts shit together. idk.....

Oh, I know what I was doing wrong. I was putting in the name of the waist bone/waist physic before pushing the button to set the bones. Not sure what difference it makes, but I did it in the opposite order, and it worked.

I think you may have accidently weighted the skirt to another bone. Remember the whole thing needs to be weighted to the lower torso bone first. THEN you add the physics, and makes sure they all connect to the lower body bone and it's physic owo
first though, check the top bones of the skirt, and make sure that their mother bone is the lower torso, if not then put them as it. Maybe that'll be an easier way to fix it. Otherwise you gotta see about doing it again.
