Description
Since it's #WingedWednesday and I like drawing insects, I gave this cutie a try. I may not have gotten the shape of the legs quite right this time, but it's mainly due to my lack of knowledge about bug anatomy and to the lack of information in my reference image. I hope you like this brilliant green insect.Related content

Oh wow, I Thought this was a Photograph! I didn't even realize it wasn't a Photograph until i got a close look of it. Beetles are so beautiful! This is a beautiful piece, and the detail and colors are outstanding. I love it. So beautiful! I love the gradient of colors in the shell of the beetle. The level of detail in the beetle is beautiful, the legs are so delicate. The shading is great, it really pops off the leaf. I seriously, wouldn't change a thing about this! I can't wait to see more of your work! Keep it up!

They do live longer in a larval state, don't they? I guess they're not fun pets then, but I know some spend 4 years in various stages of development before becoming winged beauties.

I’ve actually had super worms I cared for ( they did turn into beetles ) But the beetle I’ve always wanted was a rhinoceros beetle.
