Description
My submission for the new spaceartists pack. Tried to put about everything in there i could think of and that fitted together
Used a lot of colors to give it an alive look. Lots of layers were used wich i won't count. The psd has a size of 222 mb. Metheors were done in 3ds max as well as the spaceship. rest is photoshop work.Credits for spaceship go to Rick Snider.

ah bro this deserves all the attention it's got. Incredible piece, stunning composition. The light diffraction and flare on it is perfect, planets are impeccable, and the asteroids just top it off along with the backing. Indeed a superb piece, well done mate, all that needs to be said

very rich and colorfull starfield.. loads of variation in the colors and density..
it's a piece of art on his own..
The planets are wonderfull.. so smooth and yet so realistic
the sun appearing behinh one of them blends perfectly together with the whole soft athmosphere..
very bright and powerfull and still soft and gentle.
The spaceship gives it a nice thouch.. and it looks great congratz to rick .. but what amazes me the most is
the way you blended it all together.. the refelection of the light on the spaceship .. it fits really great..
those comets and spacering are very realistc, very well placed and add a lot of depth to the image..
mmm maybe you should have used some blurring to add some depth of field.. it would increase the depth even more..
I like the ice tail on the comet, looks better and more realistic then those fire tails..
great concept.. perfect execution.. and great finishing thouch with the title and border..

This piece is breathtaking. I literally just clicked on the link, and when it loaded I stopped. After staring for a few minutes I thought I had to comment. If this piece were any more well done I'd probably cry. Keep up the fantastic work!

I like the similarity of the three planets, if they were all different colors it would throw off the tone of the picture, the ship is incredible but I'm more intranced by the space part of this image than the ship (although it is an exellent finishing touch) I love this picture and I hate to have to do this but...alas I have to, the meteor adds a relief to the picture that is great BUT!! it is angled the wrong way!, if you can, try turning the meteor so its facing more at that big planet, so have the tail facing the viewer, not directly, but more, way more than it is, after that it would be....well I cant use any word I know of, because its already as great as all of those, it would be truly great.

Amazing. I love the overall sharpness of it all. The planets are beeutiful. Lol, I love the yellow glare!! The comets a weird colour for a comet, but thats not a problem

DUDE!, this peice is flipen awesome... great job on teh textures...
BUT!... dude, i was likeing this peice SO SO much untill i saw tat you copy and pasted the planet!!!! if not, you used the same cloud texture on the 2 bigest planets!! dude...
but i mean, i still love this peice... but i just hate to be the one to point out that its not flawless...
so yeah... dude, i like it... great job on the 3d and photoshop artistry...

no piece is flawless and yea, i copied that planet, in fact all the planets in the piece are based on the big one. it just has so many layers that i can make a dozen planets out of it. it was not smart to keep the same cloud texture that i admit. oh and tnx for the fav, appreciated.

congrats on the DD .. on the crit note (as i'm sure u know this is awsomeness personified).. i find the blue hue on the comet tail to be off with the rest of the other coloring .. but i'm crazy

is it just me or does that spaceship look a lot like a Romulan bird of prey?
