Description
"After the destruction of a large metheor a planet is bombarded by thousands of "small" fragments. The pretty far advanced inhabitants desperately try to deal with this problem. But even while the remainings of the asteroid approach slowly they are numerous and hard to destroy without creating more debrie."I hope that made some sence
I'd love to take credit for the entire piece but the spaceships are not mine. I found those on [link] So credit for those go to their creators wich can be found in the startrek and star wars sections.
It was fun creating this piece. For the first time in a long long time i felt like i was doing something i didn't do before. I love tg2, it enables you to create stunning scenes. So everyone that hasn't tried it, YOU SHOULD CHECK IT OUT!!!! Well that's all from me. Tnx for watching, i hope you like it
DKF out.

Do you have a tutorial for this Terragen planet?

This is a truly impressive mix. Joint forces for the final battle to save lives...
But since debris are so close to the surface of the planet, shouldn't we see some trails as they start to enter the atmosphere? This would also give the whole scene an even more dynamic and tragic look towards an imminent threat.

What I'm seeing is a Romulan battlecruiser and two Imperial Lambda-class shuttles. For some reason the idea of the two groups working together makes me laugh very laugh.

Wow,what an amazing scene.
IΒ΄m always impressed by space art like this, and I really like the idea that stands behind the image.
So I forgive you that you mixed up good olΒ΄ Tydirium shuttles with that Star Trek crap..DAMN,it couldΒ΄ve been a pure Star Wars pic, showing the Empire doin some good!
That wouldΒ΄ve been some good publicity...huh...
Whatever,itΒ΄s a damn great work,and I love the,umm..athmosphere it has.

the best piece of work I have seen.
Im very demanding with the backgrounds I use, either they dont annoy me or they perfectly match eveerything so they dont have much noise with the rest of my desktop.
Last night I re-installed the OS and forgot to backup my background photo (which it was this one).
I found myself puzzled and annoyed with all the new OS backgrounds and I went nuts when I found out I didnt have a backup of this image and couldn't find it through google images.
Luckily I remembered I got it from here and found it, what a relieve! Im lost without this in my desktop!
Thanks for this amazing work!

I was wondering, is Terragen 2 out then? The website seems to suggest not. If so, are you using the preview software? If not, where do I can I get T.gen 2?
