wow, pretty cool.. like a photo of a WWI soldier.. just goes to show how surreal war seems to those in the US, and how ignorant we are of our own involvement in so many conflicts...

This does have a journalistic quality the earlier comment was more than correct, but it also has a contemplative quality that keeps it artisitc
and that is definetly what I call realy sleep !

Just a trooper doing what he can when he can.
The best pictures of soldiers are never setup or posed for; shots of soldiers going about their business convey a feeling no other photographs posess.

i know it's goes under the category for military but it would also be better than most of the shots people submit under what they thing is 'journalism;' you should put it there, too, because it is.

Interesting place to take a nap. Looks like this man has been traveling for a far distant, and his energy has ran out. The clothing and his belongings are like those of hunters, or a traveler, therefore the life style of one is there. I like the shot. I just think this could be great if you could some how include the sky.
