REMusicals 10 Year Anniversary---
A side-by-side comparison of the original REMusical trilogy.
The originals were drawn in 2006, uploaded only within days of each other.
These latest renditions I began drawing in 2016, but took about 2 months to complete.
/insert smugness; happened to see a comment a few days before uploading about how I hadn't improved my art at all since RE Numa lel

I loved these but to be honest I liked the original version of "Beauty is a Feast" better. For some reason I found it funnier seeing Claire get torn apart by zombie dogs because it reminded me of those "Oh shit!" moments in RE2 when I just knew my character was about to die. Plus RE2 had some of the grizzliest game over scenes.

I get what you mean, in real life you'd definitely die in that situation! I remember some people were kinda sad and angry about Claire getting killed, and since I like her too, I figured in the REmake I'd switch her out with Steve... the go-to punching bag of the series! (Besides Ark Thompson).

Lol speaking of which I remember my friend was pretty upset at that video when Claire got killed (he had a huge obsession with Claire and Alyson Court). If he were still alive I bet he would have appreciated the one where you swaped her out with Steve because he hated Steve too.

Urgh, I really, really hope they don't fuck up RE2. I know the old one will always exist and be great, but it'll be a huge stab to the heart if they seriously forget what made the game amazing.
And yo thanks! The singing is simple, I just whip my dick and get all that secret Leggy-is-a-boy confidence and really belt it out. But yee as long as I have idea, I'll keep working on these! The next one is already being drawn, though admittedly right now I'm trying to get my RPG project done first, hopefully it'll be relatively soon.

Yo, thanks! Actually, the one art-thing I have a "give no fucks" attitude towards is guns and weapons. Too many gun fetishists were way too anal and dickish about how I drew guns back in the day, even getting pissed over stuff like "EXCUSE ME but Leon uses a glock P74 MC 17 casing, you dumbass!" so now I just say fuck it and draw weapons however I please, out of petty spite. Yay!

I will admit, I am way into weapons, and love when people use them really well in art and writing and stuff, but I'm not going to flip out about you not putting crazy detail into them. My brain will just twitch a little bit every time I see a knife and go, "Dude, that thing would be worse against sandwiches than it was against zombies in the games."

I mean if I wanna draw a particular gun, I generally just categorize them by basics; handgun, shotgun, machinegun, etc. and just look for a reference the closest matches what I had an idea for. But I'm not gonna bother researching proper handling, direction, holding style, trigger control, or whatever else there is for a damn cartoon, though XD

Thank you very much! I think I get what you mean. Animation cels generally are a bit lesser in quality than say, a normal still drawing. Shortcuts are inevitably taken, since if every frame had a picture-perfect drawing... that shit would take forever!
