Description
This is a modification of Birth Of Movement and Time 1 [link] and is my entry into =Veganvictim s Time Contest, which you can find here [link]Those of you who know me, know I'm a total colour addict and can rarely leave anything monotonal for long! Such is the case with this piece. As much as I was pleased with the original, I just felt there was so much more I could do with it... So those of you with a headache I advise you to look away now...
I left it in the Traditional Art category because although it has undergone alterations on the computer, I feel far more time went into the original drawing than went into the modifications.

I really love the wide variety of colors in this. I too, am addicted to loads and loads of color. I think what I really like about this piece is the variance between warm and cool while still keeping the colors intense. Very nice work. I only wish that I had this much knowledge to put color into my work through the computer. Good work!

This is really brilliant. For some reason this looks like lots of girls dancing in flowing dresses...but then I'm just strange lol. Brilliant...and if I had the room I would demand a wall print of it.

Interesting interpetation. I have always seen one figure (fairly abstract obviously) with an old style dress on, but not lots of them... I'll have to re-adjust me eyes and have a look!

Blimey..... I think I spent about 6 hours initially drawing it in black fineliner then I must have spent a good four hours mucking around on photoshop tying to get the layers the way I wanted.... I had to create about ten different filtered effects of the original in order to get enough different versions to make this piece..... So yeah, it took a while, but I thoroughly enjoyed creating it.

all i need now is an internet connection and a brand new spanking copy of downloaded Photoshop 9!!
see matt has his own way of using PS which involves layers and filters and deleting and all that kinda funky fresh stuff that turn photos into macabre scenes and time conduits.
i find that you use colour more in your work as seperate entities and i really like that you've somehow managed to add different circles of colour yet retaining the same art overall.
anyway - once more i find myself going off on one so i shall leave it at:
