This is a collaboration I did with ~danpurcellI drew the lefthandside and then sent it to Dan who drew the righthandside and named it Meercats Playground

Wow this is really cool! The artist on the left side definitely has better control over the medium; on the right the work is a bit garish and childlike.

this is a very simple but very cool way to collaborate; the results make a great picture and is quite amusing at the same time when you look at how your drawing was sort of "translated" into Dan's style when he took over the second half. it goes from tranquil to psychotic in about 2.5 centimetres: a great trip indeed.

Yeah most of the images in the exquisite corpse gallery are so seamlessly rendered that it's hard to tell where one artist finished and the other began, but I love the fact that this is kind of like a swift punch in the head, there's no subtlety involved and yet it flows really nicely. Collabs are fun, I've done them before with people in the same room, but never across the internet.

yes i really like this picture, at first it reminded me of a series by ~wilnva called chaos 1, 2, etc. i looked at danpurcell's gallery as well, what a colorful place to visit

I love Dans gallery because of how vibrantly he uses colour, it almost pulses out of his pictures. I can definitely see the comparison.

this is an emmediate fav. Nice use of color of course lol Really like the 2 halves effect---interesting characters and really cool designs---you have a good imagination and know how to get it into your art---nice job as usual

You mean the 3cm that I left exposed when I sent it? That's the central strip in the image. It doesn't line up totally accurately because neither of us has an A3 scanner.... man I get so sick of scanning things in two halves and trying to get them to match, such a pain in the arse!
