Somehow it's very appropriate that she calls her giant laser-shooting alien robot husband "darling".Barbara has a point! Jupiter was afraid to talk to her as well.
Jupiter had been around for about 830 years at this point, but it was his first (and last) romantic relationship. There was a lot to learn! Good thing they're getting off on the right foot here.
So there you have it! A nice simple little story about Jupiter and his wife.
Obviously all this will tie into other things later on in the story plot-wise and thematically. More to come!

you know when love is true, the fact that he is a robot speaks very much on her part. During these times, true it was meant for women to be quiet. But this speaks a LOT for her part. Willing to love a machine, to see him as more then that, it speaks so much more for her part.Β
To love oneself is to see the love that they have to offer. This gal saw the love the guy was willing to give, and gave him so much more. That's how you know its true.

Pacing of the comic... I think? Wait, no. What I meant is, you could skip some of these pages without dealin' any damage to the plot and the character backstory, for instance that "I was kinda forced to marry" moment on the whole. But, I can as well be wrong.Β

I can't divulge future plot points and themes, but I can tell you that if you skip this there's a lot of stuff that won't make sense later on.
