HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SPARKFOX!
Incase you guys haven't noticed, this is a Birthday picture i made for my good buddy Sparkfoxx. There he is looking all cool and stuff... and lookie! I'm there too, and i got his cake! sorry Sparkfoxx, but Eclipse likes cake and dislikes sharing btw people, that thing in Sparkfoxx's hand is a party rattle, twirl it around and it makes a noise! So that you know, i made a SLIGHT change to his jacket, changing the yellow stripe to some gold/yellow edge-pieces.
This picture was made like the rest: sketched, inked with a fineliner pen (a GOOD one this time ), scanned into my computer and then finally coloured in Photoshop. A different colouring method applied on this one. thought i'd try something different and it turned out great! expecially considering it's my first time drawing Sparkfoxx!my old colouring method was just using gradients, but the colouring method here is filling areas with solid colour, then using burn tool and some darker colours for shading, although a LOT of cleaning was required on some of the more detailed areas of linework.
I'm very happy with this one. Hope you like it birthday boy, and i hope everybody else likes it too! oh and i'd start chasing Eclipse now if were you... after all, he has YOUR cake, and with those wings of his he can get pretty far quickly!
