Now before anyone says anything, my original for this pic has been moved to scraps. I re-used the character here and added some magic effects and a decent background so that i could make it into a profile-type piccy for him.

This is Eclipse the Bat, a character who will feature prominently in my upcoming Sonic Fan comic, 'Light Dash: Rebellion'

Age: 16 (he has a tendency to act younger though)
Gender: Male
Species: Bat (looks to be a mix of Vampire and Fruit Bat, also his wings are strangely larger than those of an average mobian bat)
Fur: Blue (which is a very curious colour for a mobian Bat)
Nicknames: 'Clips, 'E', Batty, 'New Blue'.
Archetype: Flight unit

Eclipse is an individual who has often been the subject of ridicule and rejection as a youngster, due to his strange fur colour. The curious colouration of his fur is inherited from his father, whom is a magician of sorts, and has taught Eclipse how to wield magical energies, although Eclipse is not very adept. Eclipse is a shy character, but always attempts to make friends with people, despite having terrible results most of the time. Eclipse is also quite clumsy, often making him unwanted company near delicate objects. It is his strange fur colour and other-worldy magical abilities that have made Eclipse the subject of conversation, managing to impress some people in high places. Eclipse is a determined young individual who seeks to put his abilities to use for the greater purposes, and wants nothing more than to protect those he holds dear.

Combat Notes:

Utilising both delicate magical arts and pure clumsy luck, Eclipse manages to hold his own in combat and beyond. Although his magical abilities are limited, Eclipse's strong wings allow him a myriad of aerial combat manouvres at his disposal, although often it is his below average strength that is his downfall. His clumsiness is his wild card overall, sometimes allowing him to pull off the most incredible of feats, other times bringing dire consequences.
