Thanks for this. I'm starting to learn coloring just as a hobby, and because I think the traditional art work will make me better at my day job (visual effects)..Its so much more complicated than I thought and this tut really helps me out. This and the group. Thanks!

hehe I dont think I'll be doing a tutorial on the fun part (Rendering) its a far too diverse topic, there is just so much you can do, from digipaints to celshading and there are tutorials for that around and about I very hardly discover indepth flat tutorials on the other hand.

Dude this is an excellet tutorial on color. Finding one thats comprehensive without being wordy, or over written is not as easy as the novice colorist might think. The worst book Ive seen is by DC comics. Seems as though they are telling you what they do, without showing you HOW they do it! I also liked the book by hiFi color too.

Glad someone could make sense of it . its a very intensive subject coloring this is just the start of it, I dont think I'll make a full color tutorial for quite some time though. there is too much variation in the differant ways I render images.
