Description Something I made a few days ago, I felt like uploading it. I know the background-character moves very awkward in the beginning and the jump of foreground-guy should be smoother ^^° I'm still learning. This is actually my first runcycle (although it's totally not a cycle) and I didn't use a reference so please have mercy. Feedback would be very appreciated, I can always use some advice.

I like it! The only thing is that the tilt on the background character is too much for that speed, he looks like he's about to fall over.

This is better than anything I could ever do, for sure @_@ Animation is so hard. I can't even fathom it, lol.

Drawing is like out of the question for me to try and make a gif, so this is awesome in my book. ^_^

It's really good, you just need more inbetween frames to make it smoother, especially for the character in the back. If too many frames slow it down, then you can just speed it up, failing that take some out. play around with it. But regardless more inbetweens

Thanks for your comment. You're right, with more tweens it will look smoother but I try to stick with 12 fps, at least for now. I plan to animate larger, longer and way more detailed scenes and animating at more fps is just too much work, I don't have time for that with university and my job So basically I just want my animations to look as smooth as possible with 12fps. It's a compromise between quality and time ^^°

Sure, I use diffrent programs, this animation here is made entirely in Adobe Flash CS3 though.
