This is my first (completed) drawing on a tablet!

This is a mockup for an advertisement for a Sunday sermon series that will begin in September. I was going for an old school comic book look. The sermon series will cover topics like the Anti-Christ, the second coming, the rapture, and the tribulation period. I tried to use imagery that related to current events instead of using strong Christian symbolism.
This is a work in progress. The name of the teaching series might change, and then the artwork will also change. No, I'm not going to draw a whole comic.
This is just for advertising purposes. I believe that Jesus is coming back soon, and that all these events will soon follow. I'm really looking forward to hearing the sermons for this.2 days, Photoshop, wacom tablet

I've always been fascinated with the End Times.
Revelation is one of my favorite books. (A lot of people find that odd.)

I think Revelation is fascinating too. Very hard to study and understand, but extremely interesting. The book of Daniel, and some of the other prophets too.

People have been trying to figure out end times forever, and I doubt September 2nd will be it. This could happen at anytime, wtih zero warning. I don't trust any pastor who gives a date for it. The Lord will decide, not us.

September 2nd is the date that the teaching series starts. He's not trying to predict when these things will happen.

Drawing on a tablet is difficult for me. I've been doing traditional drawing for many years, so there was (and still is) a bit of a learning curve for me to use a tablet. The biggest difficulty is that you look at your computer screen while drawing on the tablet, so the hand-eye coordination isn't always as accurate as actually drawing with pencil and paper. But if you got a really expensive tablet that has a built-in screen it would eliminate that problem because it would be exactly like drawing with pencil and paper.

Oh, I would like to have a tablet too, but I have never thought of that problem of coordination.

I know exactly what you mean. The world is getting more and more evil, and fast! It breaks my heart to see the things that go on. But Jesus said that it would be this way, so it must happen. I guess sometimes things have to get worse before they gett better.
