Description
A quick Wheel of Time fan art depicting Rand Al'thor next to callandor in the Stone of Tear. This was more of a practice painting to work on composition and 100% imagination. The floor is a texture overlay, I did not actually paint it.My wife pictured the room with callandor looking much different than what I had painted. I was going off of how Egwene felt in Tel'aran'rhiod whenever she went alone. Dark and always feeling like someone was hiding/watching from behind the columns.
Hope you guys like it. I may revisit to clean up a bunch and make it more presentable in the future.

Really cool! Only, (and forgive me I may be wrong) I thought the sword was actually floating? It wasn't in anything, it was just sort of there? But no one could get it but Rand.
But anyways, I really love the lighting and the texture! Really great work!

I chose to interpret it as a painting of Callandor when Rand left it in the stone. It was said he put it in the floor; but a block jutting out of it would do as well.

Sweet! I remember him warding the sword and putting it on the floor! May be that was what I was thinking about when I whipped this up Thanks for making my painting look somewhat accurate lol

Thank you very much for the compliments! Yea, I think I may be dyslexic at this point lol I read one thing and imagine another...granted it has been a while since I read about Callandor and I did not look it up. Stay tuned for my next painting...I will be making "Perrin Goldeneyes" have greens eyes and platinum blonde hair while welding a dagger!
I wouldn't put it past me at this point

Hahaha! As long as it's all done with a sense of humor!
No worries. The art is super fabulous!
