Holy crap! I'm tired. I just kept drawing and drawing...I might color this... and I might go back and work on this some more. Donno. Oops! Already found a mistake. I'll fix that later...
I used only 1 or 2 references so most of this is from memory.
So anyway, this was a lot of fun. Now I'll talk about each question.
1) I didn't want to be in the meme. So Jim took my place. Bones doesn't recognize him. Ah, Jim. Such a stud.
2) McCoy is my favorite character in both TOS and STXI, even though they are fairly different. This drawing ended up looking like the TOS McCoy. Oh well. Either way, he's taken interest in Nu!Chekov.
3) I loved the whole scene where McCoy is getting Kirk sick so he can bring him onto the Enterprise, and I particularly liked the part where he was explaining why Kirk should come aboard.
4) Honestly, after I saw STXI for the first time, I couldn't get McCoyxKirk out of my mind. I was dreaming about that for days, lol. That's some serious hotness.
5) I have never seen Spock seriously paired with Sulu... or Chekov or Scotty for that matter. But I've seen just about everything else.
6) Both James Doohan and DeForest Kelley were involved in WWII. Kelley was drafted on my birthday in 1943, lol. I don't know Doohan's full story yet.
7) Honestly just an excuse to draw McCoy naked twice in one sitting. This is an exaggeration, but Urban does have (or had anyway) some serious muscles. Kelley was about 30 lbs underweight, give or take (he actually did get a little pudgy at one point) ... I personally think the curly chest hair was a nice touch.
Edit: Kay, a few insulted fangirls have said it now. I know DeForest Kelley was not emaciated, though he was quite thin. It's a cartoon, folks... Wonder why no one is saying Urban isn't that buff. ;/ I, a dedicated fanboy, can provide photographic and written evidence of Kelley's tiny body. 
8) Why the hell wasn't Chapel in STXI?! They left out Yeoman Janice too... Boooo.
9) This is why Spock has so many fangirls.
10) Uhura just didn't fit into any of the questions, really... So I let her take up the last panel!

Ugh, I'm effing jealous. I hate it. I'm short, and I'm cosplaying Bones. I'm six inches too short. Everyone says I'm an excellent Bones, EXCEPT I'm too short. My height so messes it up.
Well girls have more fat on the entire body, under the skin. It's why girls appear softer.

but your height shouldnt make things a problem. just pose with shorter than average Kirks and Spocks, or if they're taller you just make them kneel or sit in group shots. it's all about perspective, you can make it work

They fuse weaker and I'd prefer to be able to walk in my 50's.
Well, in photos, yeah. But in person it can be problematic and less believable. I can play the character pretty well but I just come off as a guy with serious Napoleon syndrome. McCoy's barking wasn't pathetic because he was tall. On a small man it looks a bit ridiculous.

I say to just not let it get to you, I bet you make a great Bones. When you look and play the character right, no one cares about height. In fact, there's a fantastic House cosplayer on here that's probably around your height but damn she does him great! (yes, I said she. She does it so well you dont register her gender). So dont give up hope! Besides, dont those TOS shoes have a heel on them?

The shoes make me a couple inches taller but remember; he wore them too. So while he would usually be 5"10" he was maybe closer to 6'0" with those on. And Nimoy was towering a ridiculous 6'3" probably.

Shatner thought Kelley was in better shape... least that's what I heard. It's all about opinion. That's all I'm saying. In my own humble opinion, he was in great shape in the Original Series, and should have had at least as many scenes of shirt rippage as Kirk. He only had one if I remember correctly. In any case, I was just showing my love for Bones in all his facets, which were just wonderful in my opinion. I wasn't making a serious challenge to your artwork. I didn't mean to offend you at all.

Shatner... tells a lot of fibs. I'm not saying he's a liar but... okay, he is sometimes. He really can be a liar sometimes so I take what he says with a grain of salt until I hear Leonard agree... then I'm pretty sure it's true because Len doesn't lie. Though he did withhold for a while; didn't talk about his past alcohol abuse until he felt ready to tell the world about it.
In my blinded-by-love fanboy opinion, I can still tell Kelley was downright sick starting in the late 50's, early 60's, and ended up being sicker than a dog by the 80's and certainly by the 90's he was dying a very slow death.
McCoy had one "shirt rippage" incident, only exposing his stomach. His ribs were showing though. Another episode we get a clear view of his arms, which didn't look too bad on the upper portion, but he was no weight lifter. A lot of it was actually soft muscle.
I'm not offended... but I am stickler for accuracy. I know Kelley was underweight, to the point of causing health concern. His fellow actors talked about it. They were worried about him.

Hmm, that's funny. Never said he was unattractive. I won't kiss his ass, though. I respect him too much to do that. I'd be flatly honest and tell him if he looked ill. And he did a lot of the time.

From what I can remember; James Doohan served with the Canadians on D-Day and, upon staking out in a town afterwards, was hit by a sentry's friendly fire at night. They had to amputate his finger as a result of it.

You know, Karl Urban is... alright. He's alright. I mean, I think Quinto, Pine, and Urban are smoking hot. All three of them, lol. But Bones as a character takes the cake for me, so Urban wins out. I am NOT a fan of his muscular build, lol!
