Collaboration with =Smiling-Demon for Evokeone: AgeI highly recommend a visit of the site because for their newest release Evoke came up with a fresh and professional looking design, which makes browsing through the exhibition definitely worthwhile.
For this image I got the opportunity to work with one of Alastairs great panoramic photos. He is a fantastic photographer and abstract artist, so make sure to check his gallery out.
We were lucky to get a feature for this piece.
About the meaning of the image:
Better don't question the physics and meaning of all the elements in this piece. I am a Physicist; I know nothing of this would ever be possible, so there's no need to point it out. I just wanted to share my crazy ideas with you and create something really weird.

This very well done! One question: why the people? They add a bit of mystery as to their intentions; but at the same time it feels like they don't belong.

I used them to illustrate some sort of ceremony I think, so that the scene comes off as something unnatural and initiated by humans. I guess what makes you think they don't belong there is the fact they don't seem to care about what's going on behind them.

One of the images I had of them was that they were the 'cause.' One of those last-ditch, sacrifice yourselves so you may save others. I just wasn't sure if they had a 'purpose.' I love art that makes me question aspects of it; you never know what they were thinking at the time. Thanks for the reply!

I think it's amazing that people take their time to think about the images or even use them as their desktop wallpapers. For me that's a great motivation to create art. I appreciate your comment

Gute Collab zwischen euch. Sobald man mit Alastair eine macht wirds so gut wie immer ein Erfolg, garantiert.

Aber das ist wirklich so. Der Kerl hat was magisches an sich mit Kollaborationen. Erste Collab war ein Feature in einem Magazin, zweite und dritte waren genauso erfolgreich als Beitrag zu IN. Vor allem ich, als eher schlechter Typ für Zusammenarbeit, (keine Ahnung wieso) kam mit ihm super klar.
Davon mal genug, hab ich ja eher wenig gesagt vom eigentlichen Release und deinem Beitrag. Die neue Seite sieht klasse aus, hat was an sich. Sehr viel Musik, was man eigentlich nicht so oft sieht, Respekt. Gab natürlich ein paar ausstehende Sachen, wie z.B. die Collab von ewald und ouwenz, alle von Rob Shields und von dshpls das Schwarz-Gelbe Artwork, fand ich auch klasse. Natürlich hat Aaron mit dem Featured Artist alles verdient, sein Stil ist ungewöhnlich und interessant zugleich. War viel fürs Auge dabei.

ehrlich gesagt hab ich mir die musik und die fotos gar nicht angeschaut xD aber die collab von ewald und ouwen ist auch mein fav o.o absolut krass.

Hab alles an Bildmaterial gesehen. Musik hab ich mir die ersten paar angehört, ist dann auch wieder bisschen viel für mich.
Da hab ich ja noch fast Glück bei der Technik, ich lerne die ganze Zeit nur durch das stetige experimentieren.
