This is just a personal graphic, that - oddly enough - was relatively quick to make compared to my usual 10h+ works. I had quite a lot of fun with this one - it all just flowed together beautifully.
Take this as you'd like to interpret it, there are many things that the image could represent. :3

I contacted gutter and he removed it/got her to remove it. However my friend still has the screenshot if you'd still like to see it. I believe her name is 'E.clipse or something. I believe what she did was crop out copyright since it was in a frame.

A lot of the light was in the original background image, but I also added extra rays through Filter >> Render >> Lens Flare. :3

It's all about practice - you'll get it eventually. :3 Try and look at where the light source is, as stronger highlights should be placed where light hits the hair.

okay thanks!! when you paint the base are you meant to paint it strand by strand or just paint the outline and then fill it in with the paint bucket?!! aaarrrrgghhh!! I am sooo hopeless with manes and tails!

I personally use a 3px brush for the whole thing - sometimes I'll use a 5px for filling the hair in though if there's big chunks of it xD I have live manip sessions on often, so perhaps attend one of those and watch me paint the hair to see if you can pick up any tips? :3
