One day, I shall submit a proper scan again. BUT IT IS NOT THIS DAY!

I have been thoroughly enjoying myself overseas. Lots of good folks I've met down here. It has really made me reconsider hospital pharmacy as an option, actually. I've also been able to visit some pretty neat places. I could have spent days at Weta if they'd let me. (Probably a good thing; they don't need someone walking around staring wide-eyed at everything they are doing.) The small glimpse into the workshop is just tantalizing. I mean, I expected LotR armor/Narnia stuff/King Kong/Avatar designs, but they have a Halo Warthog. A functional 4-wheel drive, honest-to-goodness Warthog. The very one seen in Forward Unto Dawn. It really is a geek's heaven in there. Makes me wonder what it's like to actually work in that kind of environment every day. (I got the same feeling when I went into the Disney "Draw with the Artist" studio tutorial/follow-alongs, too. It really would be kinda cool.)

But what does all this have to do with the picture? Nothing at all! In fact, this was a Sunday Sketch that got too big to keep notes on the same page, resulting in my making noise flipping back and forth on the pages. (Apologies to my pew neighbors.) These two have been popping up in my mind of late, letting me run around with them in their world of pretend. I may have even uncovered the secret identities of their mild-mannered alter egos. (Le gasp!) We'll see what happens.

Oh, and ReaSanders , 2/3 of the way through that sketchbook you gave me on my birthday already.
