Description Look, Ma! No pencil sketch!

Yeah. This is actually the second piece I did recently without a pencil sketch. A light grey works really well for getting things set down and then building up the layers.

As I mentioned in my journal, I've had to explore more into this gal's story. She seems to have wanted me to start digging after offering those two morsels of her story three years ago. (Good gosh, has it really been that long?) I'm really happy with how much I've learned/figured out. I want to draw more of her before she became like this. Much fun as the mask is, it doesn't allow for much facial emotions.

Just gotta get it in a more finished form, fill in parts that are missing... etc... lol. I'd love to turn it into a manga, but I don't know...

I think it would be a really interesting one shot. (maybe like 30-40 pages) Something nice and moody... and in color.

Actually, would you be willing to take a look at what I've got? It's kind of written out (with some gigantic holes), but I need opinions and crits.

How would you prefer I send it? Right now, it's 7 pages on Word.

I guess you can send it by email. I'll note you with the address.

She's very good! I've always used pencils in my artwork - even if it's just to work out the outlines - so I'm pretty impressed! What kind of markers/techniques do you use? It looks like it's been blended with water, like you can with watercolour paints. I've never used markers in my art so I'm quite curious!
