Issue 12, Page 15!(EDIT: I added to Silver's line on panel 3 a few weeks after the original posting date, apologies for any confusion this might cause returning readers!)
FINALLY, Vennie is back and I can talk about her properly again! Congrats to all the people who guessed it was gonna be her, you give me faith in my narrative skills.
And today, we're gonna start doing something a little different for the artist's comments-- since is my co-writer and he has a lot of influence on this story as well, I figured he should get a spot in the artist's comments!
He has lovingly prepared this passage of snark for you:
Silllvvverrr.....Silver....you will be visited this night by three ghosts...the ghosts of Christmas Sister, Blue guy and Douchebag! And don't you start losing your grip on reality now, there is a lot worse for you to come. Opps, spoilers. But seriously you ought to be thanking me Silver, considering originally she would have been all dead and Sicily would have been turned into a villian. Now we get to watch the awesome family of super ghosts unfold. Arn't you happy with that, Silver? Now get in your panic room with your orange soda themed sibling.

Becoming a ghost in the GOTF-verse is extremely traumatic and disorienting; their natural state is just a ball of conscious energy (as you'll see them switch to sometimes). Any semblance of regular person-hood and the abilities that come with it has to be re-learned through a conscious effort of will. That includes having a voice; Vennie was definitely trying to speak as soon as she could see what had happened to her, but she just couldn't get the hang of materializing and speaking coherently at the same time. The whole ordeal was a nightmare.
Sonic had a similar experience not long after he got ghosted; he was much better right out of the gate (because he got a little warning beforehand, and he's naturally strong-willed) but he was equally disoriented when he got stuck hitch-hiking in Shadow's head:

I have a friend who's wrighting a really good sonic fanfic and she killed Shadow in the first chapter and Im hopeing she brings Shad back as a ghost or spirit or something along those lines

This comic kind of reminds me of the writing of Marvel movies, what with the well placed humor in serious situations. Your style is so lovely and I love your comic.
