Well, not necessarily two Scourges.
Going by the prevalent usage of 'zones', this is just another zone, so Scourge isn't fighting the Sonic he's fought previously.
To clarify, Scourge IS the Sonic of the zone called Moebius, and he usually fights the Sonic from Mobius (Archie Sonic), Whereas in this instance, he's against the Games Sonic (More or less).

I guess that makes sense. I've just started reading the Archie comics, so I'm still figuring the "zones" thing.

Basic gist of the Zones is that they're all parallel dimensions. Every Zone has it's 'Sonic', its 'Robotnik, etc. Sometimes it's obvious, sometimes not. To start off, Scourge was just 'Jerk Sonic in a Biker Jacket', whereas a bunch of people think that Blaze is her world's Sonic.

Oh, alright. That makes sense. Yes, I remember Scourge used to be just an evil twin knock-off until he actually became Scourge. Definitely an improvement, in my opinion.

Hm, interesting. It's funny how some of the characters in the Sonic world which are based off of the blue blur end up being fan-favorites. I really like what Evan did with many of these characters. Metal Sonic, Shadow, and now Scourge have definitely played interesting roles.

IF Scourge is confusing Sonic with his Mobius counterpart, that could mean that there is three Sonics from different dimensions in this current dimension. Sonic, Scourge, and the Sonic inside of Metal Sonic. This Sonic also has not called Scourge by name so far in this comic so this Sonic might not have met his evil organic counterpart (Scourge).Β
