Not quite-- that happened in Sonic the Comic Online, which is a different fan comic. For GOTF, we're relying on canon from the official comic and Okida 's own STC-based fancomic, Sonic the Continuation. Shadow hasn't appeared yet in Okida's comic, meaning this is the first time this version of STC Sonic has met a version of Shadow.
