Description
Another picture based on my Equestria Girls fan-fiction, showing Human Shimmer, agent of the Technological Consortium(Consortium for short) looking villainous in her hidden underground outpost, where she spies on the Rainbooms and Canterlot High. It's sort of like The Bat Cave. She controls the functions of her outpost and her surveillance network from the large central computer station at the centre of her surveillance outpost..
THE FAN-SERIES
I am in the process of writing a road-map and world building for a fan-fiction series of Equestria Girls. Basically, I am writing it like a television series which acts as a sequel to where the original left off, made-up of 2 series', comprised of 5 seasons each, and each season consisting of at least 26 episodes, with a movie serving as the finale. It will be written in the style and tone of the actual show. It's basically what I would do if I was the writer for the actual Equestria Girls series. I do not actually plan on writing full episodes, as that would take too much time and effort, but I may produce a few scripts for some episodes. Instead I write my fan-series in an episodic, synopsis style which details events.

Sorry for the late reply, but I am currently unsure if I will post an actual fan-fiction. I'm more of a world builder, and prefer to show elements of a world, setting and story I envision, rather than actually writing it all out as an actual story. I might change my mind in the future, though. Once I have commissioned enough designs to visually give life to my ideas I will reveal everything about the world I am building in one place.

Eventually yes. Human Shimmer is an antagonist for most of the fan-fiction though, so the two Sunset's wouldn't be on good terms. Sunset and Sci-Twi are the ones I am most interested in though from a narrative stance, since they will be heavily involved in the story, particularly when it involves The Technological Consortium.(the organization Human Shimmer belongs to.)

I wonder, will the Humane 7 eventually see/meet the local magical threats the Technological Consortium has to face as well as the Consortium's magical allies and members?
Sunset and Sci-Twi would definitely be interested in learning about the EqG world's own magical elements & creatures and local magic-users & cultures.
Maybe the EqG world's local King Sombra and/or Queen Chrysalis played a role(s) in causing the decision to have the EqG world's magical side to be hidden and the Technological Consortium to be formed?

I was going to have the Humane 7 encounter magical/supernatural beings and threats more than they encounter the Consortium. If I was in charge of writing the series I'd try to salvage Sunset's cut song from The Friendship Games for the purpose of her wanting to explore the world and learn more about magic.
As for King Sombra and Chrysalis, I was all ready planning on using them, but King Sombra is now Professor Sombra who has been keeping himself alive with magic(Necromancy) for at least a thousand years and updates his appearance and identity every generation to avoid suspicion and continue his research. One of his past identities had a mansion which lies derelict somewhere in the Everfree Forest and would occasionally be the focus of episodes as somewhere characters occasionally go for one reason or another.
As for Queen Chrysalis, I was going to have her bee a Fae Queen who rules a kingdom in the realm of the Fae, who occasionally causes trouble. I am currently undecided if I want to make her Human-like or an anthropomorphised version of her FiM counterpart. I was going to have her minions wear insect-like armor and clothing and there would be a Chinese-style aesthetic about their style of dress and construction style, with Chrysalis wearing a lovely, if dark, Chinese dress.
I was intending to have the Technological Consortium be at least a few thousand years old, though it went under other names in the past as technology, ideals, philosophy and society evolved, but they would pre-date Sombra, but possibly not Chrysalis. Once I have enough commissioned designs I was going to go into more detail on the setting in the image descriptions rather than in comments like this. Another character I am very interested in is Discord and have a lot planned for him, he's not so much an antagonist as much as he is a wily and unpredictable neutral party and sometimes ally.
