someone in my year took almost exactly the same shot. Except she fiddled with the water in her negative and just generally tried to make everything prettier. I like it this way better: natural beauty over "I know how to make water look pretty" (that's actually something I've heard her say

Looks so very Elvish. Reminded me a bit of Rivendell. It's a beautiful scene and especially the water. The one in the back looks more like a geysir to me though. Wonderful it is nevertheless. I really enjoy the feeling of flow and relaxing here. Captured it very well with a great composition, easy to look at. Makes me feel peaceful.

Have junkie take you over to Beakman's Rock, I don't know if they let you hike it during the winter though... It has a great view, from what I remember. I wanna say it is by the dam, but I just don't remember right now.

I'm pretty sure he means Beacon's, it's a nice hike (although I've only done it in summer).
