Pimp art for Andy Hayes' new podcast, I Am Nerd. See details about this in 's [journal ].The Read or Die theme art really inspired me, so I came up with my own pose and drew the letters on, etc. No vectors used, though it would probably have been easier if I'd done it that way, rather than painting each stroke.
[Program] Corel Painted 6.1, Adobe Photoshop CS2
[Time] No idea.. maybe 6 hours? Solid colors are easy to do.

[Notes] Critiques are fine, but don't expect any changes or fixes to make this 'better'. I did deliberately do it this way, but I'll still take suggestions to heart.

I didn't have the chance to get smashed. I had a project due the next day. The boys back at UNB are getting ready to do that next time I visit them. I can hold out till then.

Thank you so much! It took lots of practice, and actually acting on inspiration instead of putting it off until later.. I'm really bad that way sometimes. I get a really great idea, and then I forget to do anything with it until way later, and by then I've lost it. This time, I didn't do that. ^^.

I like this a lot... Especially the way "I AM" moves over her collar bone. I love when people pay attention to details like that. I like the flat colors, too, and the shape of her lips is really appealing to me. <3 I like the elongated neck and just, ooh, this is a neat piece. I like how soft the ends of the strands of hair look, too.
