Description Ruby Prince and Lord of the Unseelie, a truly twisted character, he screamed at me in my head for the past .. four months that I've been mulling hi slikeness over, and now he threatens to give me nightmares until I fall into insanity forever. I don't think he's particularly happy about the way I painted him, but he's just being a prat.

This was done as a commission for ~Ravenfire 's Shards of Alesya novel . Go check it out!

Very pretty... I'd like to stroke his hair

I like how you rendered his clothing, it looks it velvet. Nice job ^_^

Thanks Joyce~! I was intending it to be velvet, thanks for noticing! I wasn't sure what color scheme to use, so I just winged it.

Whoa...that rocks. Yay for Vermillion! Er...well...maybe not yay for Vermillion, but yay for him here! Love how you've drawn him! Especially like the eyes and white shirt.

Very nifty!!! he's very pretty. I have no real qualms about the painting of the figure or the throne, but a bit of background would've kicked this up a notch. Especially since what you have for a BG now is very dark, and the throne and his clothes are... very dark. Nothing major, just like a, curtain or something, something to give it context I guess?

That nagged at me forever, but I couldn't think of a proper background to give him. He's a very gloomy guy, he is, and it doesn't seem like he'd be sitting in much except shadows to me. >.👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Maybe you need to get out more. By "get out", I mean "go for coffee with me".

OMG. HE IS HOT. Ive never been a Vermillion fan, but omg, you make him so purdy. XD I love the lave. You CG real well. I love ho wyou CG...

I think his left eye (our right) is a bit wide out... like, too far to the right. The middle of the eye is supposed to make a vertical line with the edge of the mouth. Sorry to crit, but I figured you'd be able to do the chancges since it's CG... and CG has things like layers. But oh, man, I love his hands. Mmm. Vermilllllioooon.

His eyes have been bothering me a while. It'd be a lot harder to change than you think Woelfy. This is what happens when you can only paint on one layer in Painter 6, and then you add edits in Photoshop. >👍: 0 ⏩: 1

woefulinfinity In reply to exdevlin [2006-03-03 18:21:35 +0000 UTC]

XD DO a cut/move/paste in Photoshop on the flat image... and then use close stamp to fill in the areas that you disturbed. X3 (I hope this helps)

I've tried that countless times, and it just NEVER works. Looks like I'm gonna have to repaint that part of the face.

It's okay.. I wanted to fix that anyway.. I'll probably kick this to scraps, and repaint a few parts of him. Painting is too hard damnit ><.
