I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but my dad's a silhouettist who's borderline obsessed with bugs and skull and crossbones:so the bottom line here is that most of my house was covered in creeping cockroaches, beetles, leering skulls, and a myriad of butterflies and moths. perhaps this explains my fascination for morbid beauty, so skulls and flowers it is!
as always, I really really appreciate comments and feedback and would love to know what you think

Go for it!! I didn't have access to a scanner when I uploaded this originally, so I think some of the line work on the flowers might be a little washed out from adjusting the contrast, but I'll note you if I can get a better copy of it up tonight.

Not bad. The flowers on either side of the deer skull are a bit too symmetrical...making one slightly different from the other would add interest. But overall it's good. What diameter penpoints were you working with?

I totally know what you mean. I free handed both of them (and the skull) with ink, and so I was surprised that they did come out so symmetrical this time. I was working with 0.3 mm for most of the outlines and 0.2 mm for the more intricate line work (a 02 and a 005 from the pigma micron line respectively). Thanks for the feedback
