Description
Seeing old Southern Pacific units is rare enough. Seeing them in their original paint and numbers is even moreso.ex-Southern Pacific AC4400CW #335 leads Union Pacific SD9043MAC #8245 and a cut of coal across Hangman's Bridge, eastbound through Hays, KS on the Sharon Springs Sub.

I've seen two living along this line, and both were patched units, so they had the paint, just not the numbers. But it works I guess.

Wow, this one is a fav! Full Colors and original numbers. That would be like if ex-Erie Lackawanna SD45's still wore full EL colors on NS and CSX trains.

OH yeah. Gotta love the original 3-digit road numbers that SP, C&NW, D&RGW, and ATSF had.

Hey, some CSX AC4400's have single digit numbers.
Love that bridge.
