Entering past the threshold, the awkwardness of the moment is temporarily written plainly on the faces of both men, though they quickly recover during a slight bow as the High Lady presents herself to them. Drea acknowledges the formality with a nod and, when they have regained their composure, she raises a brow. "I assume, my Lords, that you are here regarding the fires burning in the fields beyond the Belfry Road. Correct?"

Tarkin frowns. "Well, that and other things, High Lady," he grumbles. Theonius adds an expectant nod, taking a step backward into the threshold.

"It is a matter that will have to be addressed and we will require my Chief Advisor to address it, certainly," she responds, then holds out her hand toward Tarkin. "But if you are here to make a claim that Luther Vandermoor's deeds are treasonous, Commander, then you had best present me with some solid evidence to that fact now. I have never known him to take any outwardly controversial action without a very good reason, and before I consider passing judgment on the act, I would hear his reasons from his own mouth. Are we clear on that, Tarkin?"

"Yes, High Lady," Tarkin says quietly. "I myself can wait for Luther's explanation, but... others may not be so patient."

Drea frowns and lowers her arm to her side. "The people are already roused and gathered? I'd not think the smoke clouds had been long enough in the sky."

"They-..." Tarkin begins, his face darkening. "The people had some help, I think. They knew what to watch for, and where to look."

Drea straightens. "Ah. Her again."

"Zirena," Tarkin nods. "My guess is that your public hearing night will be full of her 'Seekers' this evening, and they will be loud. Worried, and loud. I thought you should know as you made your preparations for the evening."
