Names:Sáveron Sætansen (his true Demon name is Belphegor)
Species: siderian (a northern, horse-sized tiger-oriental cat-lynx like feline).

Birth place: the Fjordlands (central Norway)
Birth year/date (relative to Stian’s birth year) : thousands of years before Stian
Death year (relative to Stian’s birth year): he probably got extremely, legendarily old. The normal life-expectancy of siderians is 100-120 but I think he got more like 140 maybe up to 150…
Family
He had three brothers; for as far as I have seen, one seemed black, one chocolate brown and the third guy seemed blue-gray but I’m not sure. His mother was probably a big redpoint sideress (her points may have been nearly blood-red so intense). I haven’t seen his father clearly but I get the feeling that he was black.

Sáveron was far ancestor of all the Sætansen siderians after him (e.g. Stian, Håkan, Yava, Goran, Matthias, Morten, Axel and some who are not on DA yet). The oldest Sætansen apart from Sáveron currently on DA is Åmund:

APPEARANCE
Appearance & reputation: Gigantic, impressive and respected through both fear and fascination.
Shoulder height: 1,85m which is exceptionally, really exceptionally tall for a siderian. He’s thereby the tallest siderian that I ever known.
Physical description: Huge. Really HUGE. He’s quite long lined and tall and yet heavy and muscular which gives him a massive appearance. He has a typical tiger-like body that is overall well in balance. Huge paws with characteristically shaped digits. Quite a long tail. He has a regal, strong, impressive and determined way of moving and presenting himself.

Balanced facial features and quite an average profile. A slight dip between his eyes and yet a convex (Roman) nose-bridge. Pronounced cheeks and a bit of an angular muzzle. The typical Sætansen eyeshape that you see in several of his descendants (a feature that is preserved in the family, probably due to more than only genetics). Eyes are light golden and appear unnaturally bright; nearly white. Quite a flat skull and big horizontal, kinked ears that form a nearly continuous line with his skull.

Deep black long, wavy, smooth coat. Very long and dense fur extensions (ornaments) on his flanks, ankles, elbows and wrists. Very full and long mane and beard. Only the fur at the side of his head and jaws is shorter near the ear base (and ‘stands’) before it goes over in the longer fur on his lower jaw

Jewelry & accessories: a big pentagram necklace with a vertebra around it. He has probably forged this himself and this had become the oldest most sacred Sætansen relic after him. He may have cast some sort of Demon spell on it so that it stayed forever in the Sætansen family; one way or another. You can see both Stian and Håkan with the same necklace.

PERSONALITY & CHARACTER
Personality and mannerisms:
Honourable and always under steel control. He’s steady, calm, wise and rock solid. He comes across as cold, dark and not very friendly, yet he appears wise and even has a vibe of fatherly care around him. Sáveron is assertive and a good leader and yet prefers he to stay mysteriously invisible in the dark while he watches everything carefully. He can appear out of the blue and so can his aggression. If need be, he can become brutally violent in a split second and becomes like an everything crushing avalanche of Hellish power. Like lighting from clear sky. He does not back off from cruelty when he is being disrespected. Fortunatily his intimidating appearance is often deeply respected by other siderians which gives Sáveron what he wants without much turmoil. Despite his preference for solitude and darkness, he’s very straightforward in his actions and and thereby trustworthy. He does not need trickery and goes for the open confrontation to present his demands. If he’s respected, he returns the respect.
Voice, manner of speaking: a heavy and impressive voice, yet with a warm and fatherly touch in some cases. A bit like Mufasa from the animated Lion King (English or Dutch spoken) but Sáveron’s voice has a darker, deeper undertone. He does not speak much, but when he does, he chooses his words wisely and exactly to the point.
Sexuality: heterosexual and very polygamous. He had many cubs with many different mates whom he allowed to stay on his big, conquered lands.
Spirituality and philosophy: He is a highranking Demon born in a siderian body, so his affiliations are logically with Lucifer and His fellow Demons. For as far as I know, his ‘philosophy’ is that Willpower can achieve anything.

Interest, hobbies, occupation:Building the dynasty and coordinating the business on both his lands and probably also the neighbouring metacluster. He was always busy and part of his time was devoted to land defense and supervising the care teaching of his cubs (sometimes he participated himself).
Special skills: he was a Demon born in a siderian body. Although he was limited by the physical body on a physical planet, he had still an immense spiritual power that made things possible that other siderians would never think is possible. His mysterious powers seem to echo through in all his descendants. He seemed to have been able to cast protection spells and curses and even affect the heritage of certain (physical) features of his descendants. I’m yet to learn what more he’s capable of…
STORY
I don’t know much of his background yet.
All I know is that he is a high-ranking Demon in Hell (his true name is Belphegor). He has showed himself in what I felt was more like his native form; a gigantic black dragon with massive talons and pointy scales. For reasons that I don’t yet know, he decided to come to the siderian world (which I feel/see as some parallel version of Earth and incarnate in a siderian body with a very clear mission: to build a Demonic dynasty.

He was the first born son from an impressive red-point, rather unusual sideress who had a tough life. His mother raised him and his brothers well and he already knew as a young cub what and who he really was. He was already assertive and formed a close bond with his three younger brothers. As soon as he reached adulthood and came to his full strength, he and his brothers claimed a large territory next to the still growing, newly established metacluster called MistFjord. Metaclusters are places where sort of metaphysical crystallized paths that run throught he Earth’s crust come together and form clusters. These crystallized underground paths appear to be a bit like the Earth’s nervous system and siderians can actually (spiritually) communicate through these in many different ways (long story). Some of these crystals can also convert energy. That’s one of the reasons why many siderians live near metaclusters and why siderians there appear more social than those living further away.

Back to Sáveron’s story; the metacluster there was formed by two crystal nodes that were about about 100 km apart. One node had just become the cluster MistFjord, while the other node was located in someone’s private territory. It was the second node that Sáveron and his brothers had targeted to claim as the headquarter of their future land. They conquered the land by force and kept it to establish their family. There was a gigantic natural cave present near the second node and Sáveron and his brothers turned it into what they called Fortress Sætansen. That was also when they began using the family name Sætansen that Sáveron came with. Sáveron also took the position to coordinate the main cluster; MistFjord. His reign was hard, yet honourable.

He and his brothers invited several sideresses on their lands and with their cubs, the Sætansen dynasty had come to be. Sáveron may have cast a certain protection spell over the Fortress and many of the art and things that he and his brothers had made. Maybe that’s why, even after thousands of years the patrilineal Sætansen family was still holding the Sætansen Fortress with the many ancient relics that come from Sáveron’s time.

While Sáveron watches over ever one of his decendents from his position in Hell, part of his soul still lives on each of them. He cares for all of them as their ancient father. Sometimes he appeared to them spiritually, as a guardian or guide to show the way or protect them when needed.
