Description In this tutorial, I will show you a simple way of creating a 3D goblet in Wings 3D. Since Wings 3D is a modeler only and not a renderer, you'll have to import it into your favorite 3D program that does rendering (ie. Blender, Art of Illusion, Anim8or - all free by the way) or in a standalone rendering machine like Pov-Ray or Yafray.

I'm new to 3D so can't really explain the rendering process in anything other than Bryce. So, I elected just to show the steps for modeling only.

Although nothing is required for you to download and use this tutorial, giving me a fave would be a simple way to show your thanks. Just click the Add to Favorites link on the left side of the page, near the top. You don't even have to give me comments. Come on, people, show a little bit of love for someone who takes the time and effort to do the hard work of preparing these tutorials for your enjoyment and learning.

Hope you enjoy!

I am just getting into Wings3D which is easier to learn for the novice. I am hoping that working in Wings3d will help me to learn Hexagon down the road.

Glad you liked it! Thanks. I've not used Vue so I don't know the steps to bring it in, but I did a quick Google search and it sounds pretty straightforward. Just make sure you export your model to a format that Vue can use (like 3ds or obj).

Cheers!

Yeah, there's an inbuilt workaround for Vue Esprit, and it works well. Thanks again for the tut!
