Description
In this tutorial, I will show you how to animate the Matrix background we created in GIMP using this tutorial: www.deviantart.com/deviation/4…The GIMP Animation Package is not required for this tutorial.
The tutorial is in html format. So, just download the zip file to a convenient location, like your desktop. Double-click the zip file and move the html file and the "files" folder to your desktop (the files folder and html file must be in the same location for the images to show up.) Double-click the html file and the tutorial will open.
Although nothing is required for you to download and use this tutorial, giving me a fave would be a simple way to show your thanks. Just click the

Man, I hope that DD thing around St. Lucie today didn't affect you - my nephew only had a couple years into it but still a mess for him.

Funny you should ask that....I've figured out a way to make the "matrix" effect in GIMP without Photoshop plugins and can animate it (it doesn't look exactly like the PS version, but I guess it really doesn't need to...) Maybe I should attempt to put the whole thing together as a script.
Or are you just wanting to make it using the PS filters and have a script to animate it? Let me know and I'll see what I can come up with...But it might be awhile.
