Description
Concept art of Sonic the Hedgehog at age 3 for "Sonic Freedom Saga" that me & plan to make as an animation.Even though I did have an idea for Sonic as a child, well before he was blue anyway, which was based off of the Sonic 1 promo comic & an issue of Sonic the Comic, & I decided to try & draw child Sonic again but use Naoto Oshima's original concept art for Sonic, who was then "Mr. Needlemouse", as an inspiration.
Sonic the Hedgehog belongs to Sega, Sonic Team, DiC/Cookie Jar Entertainment, & Archie Comics. Sonic concept art belongs to Naoto Oshima, Sega, & Sonic Team.

This was BEFORE that accident that turned Sonic blue (from the Fleetway comics).

It was unexpected but when he did turn blue, his first reaction, in this story, is him yelling "Way Past Cool!"

First off, no duh. It's not like it's AFTER the incident. XD
Secondly, I already know that part of the story. Good thing it's only in the Fleetway Comics.

Yeah. But did you know that the Fleetway story was based off of an early version of the American continuity (oh wait disregard that question; EVERYONE knows that by now XD)?

But you know, I doubt those other hedgehogs that looked like fan characters were ever in the prime series. 
I feel that the Fleetway continuity, starting with Brownie the Hedgehog here, looks a lot like a parody of the series or a comic of what could've been a DiC-styled anime of Sonic. (Especially with Big and Chaos being friends and Big having to get a job as a chef to pay off a dept or whatever. XD)

Yes. Before he turned blue in that issue in StC & in the Sonic 1 promo comic. But since my friend respects Naoto Oshima's art, I decided to pay homage to Oshima's original concept design for Sonic the Hedgehog.

Well if you remember the StC continuity (or the 1991 Sonic 1 US promo comic), Kintobor decides to test Sonic with a machine that would test Sonic's speed. Sonic went past the speed of sound, causing a "sonic boom". The energy from the machine (along with whatever was powering it) turned Sonic blue. I know it doesn't make sense but at least they tried to explain it.

As far as I know, I think; from that continuity it was before Robotnik/Eggman turned evil.

Robotnik? Well in the StC continuity, yes, but he was known as Dr. Ovi Kintobor. In SFS, he'll be Dr. Julian Ovi Kintobor (sort of the same thing, I guess).
