Description
Queueing Theory:It's a really hot day in Emotecity and all the emotes are out at the park having a relaxing day.
Alea and Bobby queue up for some ice cream to cool down .. the queue is too long for Alea, so he strikes up a "conversation" with Bobby:
Alea: I have a theory about queues
Bobby: Yeah? What is it?
Alea: You're behind me so you will have to wait longer
A few days ago I was talking to a friend and she mis spelled queueing ... so I checked by typing it in google and found out that the way I spelled it was correct ... and secondly I found out that there is a queueing theory
Queueing theory is the mathematical study of waiting lines, or queues. The theory enables mathematical analysis of several related processes, including arriving at the (back of the) queue, waiting in the queue (essentially a storage process), and being served at the front of the queue. The theory permits the derivation and calculation of several performance measures including the average waiting time in the queue or the system, the expected number waiting or receiving service, and the probability of encountering the system in certain states, such as empty, full, having an available server or having to wait a certain time to be served.
Seriously ... how bored do you have to be to do this?
So a friend came up with a much better queueing theory that works every time! ... I HAD TO emote it!

I have Photoshop CS4 ... so it has the animation in the program. If you have an older Adobe ... before CS3 ... you would need to do prep work in PS and move it over to Image Ready.
This one has a few layers, the two emotes talking to each other have a few facial expressions that are turned on and off in certain frames to create emotions.
Hardest bit of it all is remembering which way to move which emote in each frame
I used this tutorial to play with my first animation - [link]
Then I got brave and started making more complex ones

hehe ... I had CS before and got CS4 on a student price ... don't regret getting it, love it to pieces (but then my abilities with PS are no where near good enough for me to say I really know anything about PS to begin with)
Love the animation in PS ... saves me time when animating when I find I need a new layer
hope my previous comment was helpful
