Introducing Company 2 of the Wolford Twp. Fire Department/ Raccoon Valley Fire District.

Company 2 is located in the Wolford Estates area and serves a heavily residential area, Wolf Lake and The Wolford Hiking and Recreational Area and two area schools. The Wolford Estates Firehouse quarters Engine 2 (25-2 on county radio) The South Battalion (Battalion 25) and the Brush Fire Unit. Due to the close proximity of The New Liberty State Park And The Pine Barrens, the company is called to assist state wildland crews in during the wild fire season and often houses and feeds those crews as well.

Company 2 is staffed fulltime with an Officer and 3 Firefighter/ First Responders. 1 member will transport the Brush Fire Unit as needed. Engine 2 is also equipped with light rescue tools such as a Hurst Combination Tool, Hurst Hydraulic pump, step chocks and water rescue gear to cover some of the target hazards in the area. Engine 2 provides mutual and automatic aid into Stow County.

Company 2 ran 720 calls for service in 2021 and operated at 20 All Hands or greater fires.
