Another excellent page! Gosh, I love Undyne in like, every panel here. Her expressions and poses are fantastic--I like that little mannerism of her tugging on her fin while she thinks for a moment. Also Papyrus's expression in the panel immediately afterward, ahaha.
Oh man I've read over this page a few times now but I only just now noticed that she's standing directly in front of the crack in the wall in that last panel, and the bone is visibly sticking out, but the way it's positioned looks like it's sticking out of HER... dang, that foreshadowing. Not only foreshadowing what's going to happen to her later, but also just how bad of an idea it was for her to do this. Not that she would know, of course, but for those of us who already read the story... brrrr.
BTW, really nice work on the panel layout this time! i seriously hope I didn't upset you or anything with my last comment ;A; i did not mean to do that.

Sweet, you noticed all the small details I spent so much time working on! I've been trying to incorporate more body language to show the characters' feelings in each panel, both because it's good practice and there's a lot of stuff being lost in translation between the original story and the comic. Writing every inner thought that Papyrus has would fill the page with too much text, but comics have visuals which can replace that!
I absolutely LOVE your interpretation of the last panel. I'm sure I was thinking something vaguely along those lines when I drew it, but my thoughts on the panel weren't quite solidified at that point. You just took the cake with your analysis. Is it possible to fangirl over a reader's comments? Well I'm finding out right now.
You didn't upset me at all, no, I completely agreed with you. Also your real feedback is more helpful than you know; compliments all the time get you nowhere, and your comments are on point. I focused on the layout a lot this time, taking notes from professional comics and how they arrange their panels. The layout definitely has a huge impact on the way a comic reads, so getting it right is something I'll keep working on. I'm glad this page was a success in that aspect!

Yeah, some stuff would definitely be harder to translate from fic to comic. (I started doing a comic of one of my own fics once, but decided not to go through with it because a lot of the stuff going on with the character was happening internally and I couldn't make it translate well to comic form.)

Yeah, I'm trying to get back to work on my own comic... I hate how long it's been taking between pages, so instead of posting the pages in chunks, I'll try to get one page posted a week, at least. I've also switched to using FireAlpaca for outlining the comic, since that program has a stabilizer, and I'm still kinda getting used to using it. (I was also hindered because during a comic stream, my tablet drivers decided to stop working, and then Wacom's latest drivers are totally broken and tried to install a trojan with the drivers, so that was "fun" trying to get that to work. Completely halted my progress on the comic until I got it fixed.)

omgggg I remember reading this story months ago. That story freaking tore my heart out and crushed it into tiny pieces. Took forever to repair the thing e-e even seeing the first few chapters in comic form is breaking my heart again since I know what's coming.
