The fact that you are able to draw this in exact pose and proportion already makes this awesome. To add it, done in black paper, makes this even more epic. This reminds me of a certain artist, BeckyKidus .

Dang I'm gonna have to say that you are really good at what you do and I'm feeling like I need to shape up black paper is kinda new to me but you really got a good way of approaching the beast shadows highlights blending I'm impressed with the way you built with lines just lines its just cool as the breeze how that works and looks I really got alot to think about when it comes to this I'm lost . well now I've rambled and and wondered now the question I ask is what's it like to be cooler than hell and an amazing artist ? Humbled impressed and kinda jealous that is my opinion and critique keep it up and put more down ill watch the pro do things pros do

Awww, than you for such an amazing comment!
Cooler than hell and an amazing artist? Oh, stop it, man, I am starting to blush I do not think that I am such an amazing artist as you said, but thank you for your amazing word! It really made my day. Even though I don't consider myself to be a pro, you are right and I really should draw more - I will try, I promise!
Thank you again, also for the watch!

man, that's cool I wish I could do this with paint my painting is trash. what paint or medium did you use? the leopard looks lively and life like did you use a photo or drawing reference? the shading in the lines look great and the contrasting of the black paper is good I have never used black paper and colors before, mostly because I'm afraid to mess up the piece and it would look stupid. but I can appreciate and admire someone else taking the time and effort to make this artwork I do think that the fur shading might need some work but I'm not to sure how though since I never made anything with this medium and of this type. Also, scratch my earlier question about what the materials you had used for your piece. anyway...I like the content keep it up!

Thank you very much!
Well, everything is written above, just watercolor pencils and black paper. You should not be afraid of messing things up, because that is art - it is all about trying and getting better You should definitely try it.

Hello!!! I came from
Your work is fantastique, only I saw some little details, maybe I'm wrong, but I can see the grid to follow the segments, it looks like a barely visible white tone, I have no idea if you can hide them using graphite or any black material, well, I never worked with black paper, just be careful with that.
Hairs in their mouths (sorry for that, my english is not good, I'm learning ^^), those in black color, seem a little forced (almost not), if you could soft them it would be perfect, or maybe they're, watermark hides a part.
In the nose there is a shadow that makes it look a little square or very straight, just maybe it could have a kind of curvature, but it doesn't affect very much.
It's great how you used darker colors, it looks a little more artistic in this way, I don't know why exactly.
Honestly I'm inspired now to draw something similar to this thanks to you, just I need black paper ^^
I had difficulties to critique this, I couldn't find more details, It's almost perfect for me, keep doing amazing art!, You rock!

Hi! Thank you for your comment. I really appreciate it!
I'll try to be more cautious with the white grid. I didn't really think about hiding it, but I will definitely try it!
Next time I'd probably try to scan my art instead of capturing it on camera, maybe the black hairs are also affected by that, but you are right - I was really afraid to draw that part, because I was afraid to spoil the whole picture
Yeah, you should definitely try it! This was I think my second time drawing on black paper, but it was really a nice experience! Especially understanding how different the colors work there! So go and get one, and try it! And send me a result, please - I just took a brief look through your gallery and it is awesome (I'll take a closer look through the weekend, when I have more time) - there won't be problem with black paper with your skills! ^^
Thank you one more time for sucha a nice words!

It's my pleasure
Your work captured my attention for its quality.
Yeah, grids are very useful, but we have to learn how to draw without use them too, especially when we have to create, I use in most of my drawings ^^, but it's easier in white paper, I think after you draw on black paper is complicated to delete.
That's okay, after scan you should apply some filters because the bright from scanner, you know ^^, but anyway is amazing to see like yours, even with your art material near, then that create an idea about the size and that definitely is a traditional work and not digital.
Possibly, but it doesn't affect much, looks very cool, and I understand that, always is the same when you apply dark colors ^^
Thank you, It's difficult to find good shops where I live, in case they don't have I can get from internet, only I need that, I'm planning to do using pastel pencils I bought before.
That's so cool, I think I saw before, a bird if I remember well, I'll check later.
And of course I'll do, a special note for you before publish here ^^
aww thank you! , I'm glad you like my gallery, I'll check yours later, while you have a new watcher ^^
The same for you, you're a very kind and talented person

Yeah, it was quite hard to erase, because if I pushed the eraser too hard, there stayed white lines from the eraser and not from the pencil
I know that feel, there aren't many shop where I live either. But that is not a comment topic, I'll send youa note
Thank you very much one more time!

I see, sounds complicated to draw in black paper, I'm really anxious to buy, just now I have to draw something with black background, but I think I'll use marker in this.
Okay, We continue in notes then
No problem, It's very nice talking with people here

Hey from ProjectComment ! This is stunning work but I think you could improve bymaking the wite area of the fur a uniform color instead of drawing individual hairs. Hope this helps!
