Description
The only thing I can say about this is that I've had a chemistry double lesson and I got really bored for we are just repeating the same things over and over. And I really wanted to try some cross hatching. It is not perfect but there must be a room for improvement
The original picture belongs to Photography Špendla . She really has beautiful photos of horses/animals, I am actually considering to draw another ones in the future ^^

very nice, I think for a spur of the moment drawing it looks good, sometimes that's the best art, in my opinion, not dissing on those people who plan out there drawings, but something about spur of the moment has a certain sharpness and freshness that the longer works do not exactly have (if any of this makes sense).

It's been some time since I saw one of these! I really liked its texture and how you managed to shape the horse nicely and give him an amazing shading

I´m from
It is insane to use only pen to draw a figure. In fact, I know cases of people who dislocated their hand and get tired in real life.
But let me tell you that this drawing in its anatomy, in its strokes, in its expression, shaded, multiple lines and delineated ...
I do not know if you have a superhuman gift, but without doubt you have a technique for each style of material such as pencil and now in pen. Without a doubt, you are surprising me a lot

Hi! Sorry for my late reply
And thank you for taking the time to comment!
I would not call it a "superhuman gift" though! Thank you anyway! Actually most of the time my first attemps with some technique turn out to he the best ones
I am really glad that you like it! I hope I won't let you down and you will like even the piece I started today (this time watercolors )
Thank you one more time!

Hi! I'm from ProjectComment!
Wow, this is amazing I've never even tried to draw a horse and doubt I could, so this is very impressive. You've really managed to capture the anatomy well, and even though it was just done quickly with a pen, it looks very lifelike. I think the pen and crosshatching is a really interesting and cool choice, and I think it looks pretty great, and adds appeal to the piece.
The only few areas of improvement I could see are very minor. The only thing I think is off anatomy-wise is the mane/hair thing (what is that called? XD), it looks fairly flat and doesn't continue that far back. I assume you didn't focus very much on it or forgot about it, which is understandable, and happens to me all the time. I'd just suggest sometimes taking breaks and coming back, because you might see things you didn't notice before. Otherwise, all of the anatomy is great. The only other thing I thought was a little strange was how the horse's body in the bg gets a lot lighter, and there aren't as many strokes. It just looks slightly strange, so I'd recommend filling it in a little more so the piece is even.
Otherwise, this piece is wonderful, and very impressive! Great job, and keep drawing! I can't wait to see more of your art

Awww, thank you for your comment and sorry for my late reply!
I think you just have to try and maybe you will be surprised
It is mane and I actually forgot about it, I was just concetrating on the horse as such and then I found out that I left out mane and.. I just did not really care
Well, if you are interested in my art, you can definitely watch me! Thank you one more time!

Very good crosshatching! I personally tend to not do it the right way and it always amazes me how simple things can make such a big difference

Oh, thank you! I'm not quite sure about crosshatching, haven't drawn much in this style, your words mean really much to me!

I tend to look at the things in tones and not in planes and crosshatching is basically looking at things as planes. So it's cool that you can see and visualize it. I kinda can do it but I need to put a lot of effort into that kind of thing.

It actualyl helps me not to think about things when drawing I just do it how I feel, then it comes out far better and even if it does not, I need to say that I like it more
I think that your work is really great from my briefly look through your gallery ^^
If you're interested in discussing crosshatching and art in general, you can send me a note ^^

it's amazing to be able to do this in pen
you cannot mistakes as you cannot erase it
once you make mistakes it will be ruined
